Stock market indices
HOCHTIEF is listed in the Prime Standard segment on
Frankfurt Stock Exchange and is a component of the MDAX
index, in which it ranked 13th with a weighting of 2.78 percent
as of the balance sheet date. The company has been
included in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index World and
the Dow Jones Sustainability Index Europe since September
18, 2006. HOCHTIEF is the first German construction
company and one of only six construction services providers
in the world to be incorporated in these indices. This
rewards our clear commitment to sustainability. HOCHTIEF's
stock also features in a range of other indices.

Stock price
HOCHTIEF stock performed very strongly in 2006, gaining
no less than 45.9 percent in value. Climbing from EUR 37.83
at the end of 2005 to EUR 55.20 at the close of 2006, our
stock outperformed both the MDAX (which gained 28.6 percent)
and the DAX (22 percent). HOCHTIEF also achieved
significantly stronger value growth than either index over
the period since the sale of RWE's major shareholding in
HOCHTIEF, gaining 140 percent compared with 96 percent
for the MDAX and 65.1 percent for the DAX.

The foundations for the sustained upward trend were laid
by our target-beating business performance. In each quarterly
report, we were able to reaffirm or raise our optimistic
forecast given at the start of 2006. We have improved the
Group's operating earnings power, and we have moved
substantially closer to our EUR 100 million medium-target
for consolidated net profit.
HOCHTIEF's inclusion in the Dow Jones Sustainability indices
likewise met with a positive response. Sustainability -
combining economic and environmental goals with
social commitment - is one of the key factors in our enduring
success. We will be publishing a new sustainability report
in 2007, documenting the various activities of our national
and international subsidiaries and associates with
which we create sustainable value.
