Our Australian subsidiary Leighton Holdings leads the contract mining business by a rock solid margin. Its activities in this sector include mine operation and management. At the Mount Keith Alliance nickel mine in Western Australia (see picture) 95 million metric tons of material are won annually. In this way, over 400 employees operate the mine in shifts 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year and contribute to the world’s nickel supply.
